Thankful

This year Jim and I hosted Thanksgiving.  We had 42 people!!!  And we loved it!  It took lots of preparation but was totally worth it.  We provided a turkey and few dishes and asked everyone else to bring a dessert or side dish to share.  We had sooooo much food!  Sorry I didn't get a pic, but once the party got started I wasn't good about taking pics.  Hope everyone had a great turkey as well.

Happy Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year.  Laney really understood the whole concept.  We started out trick or treating with Jim at the squadron.  Everyone in the squadron decorated the different offices and had PLENTY of candy for all the kiddos!  It was an awesome event!  We then went trick or treating with a bunch of friends on base.  The kiddos had a blast and I'm pretty sure the parents loved it too!

We went to Disneyland the beginning of October.  It was so fun.  We only spent one day there and that was just enough for our little lady.  She had a blast.  We look forward to going again!  Here are a few pics from the day.  Laney only met a few characters.  She wasn't quite sure of them.  I hope next time she can enjoy them more.

Space Shuttle Endeavor Flyover

This morning Laney and I met some friends on base to watch the Space Shuttle Endeavor do flyover Vandenberg.  It was so awesome to see!!!!  Click on the pics to see them larger.  

Bedtime Reading

Warning!  This video is REALLY shaky!  Laney doesn't like to be recorded so I have to be really careful about doing so.  This is how she likes to read to us before she goes to bed.  We think its pretty funny!  Hope you do too!

2 year pics

Last weekend, Jim and I took Laney to an apple orchard to take some two year pics.  I am pretty pleased with them.  I took them myself.  I'm no photographer by any means, but they turned out pretty well...enjoy!
