Bed Time Stories

Today I find myself looking back. The first few weeks of Laney's life I wasn't sure we would make it to 6 weeks much less 6 months. I truly can't believe she is already HALF A YEAR! She has become more and more fun everyday. I am overwhelmed daily with my job to "teach" her. Being a parent is my greatest joy and biggest worry. With that being said, here are a few pictures from our nightly routine with our Little Loo (before she was born my mom started calling her Laney Loo and it has just stuck). Every night we do the same things and Laney has just started to really pay attention to her books. We read the same thing everynight ( I want her to LOVE books). Jim has been putting her down the last few nights and had told me that she started to look up at him while he reads to her, so tonight I stood in the hallway to observe. Oh how it melted my heart to see her look at her Daddy as he read to her. God gives girls to special men! I love that she loves him so much!

I.Y.A.M.Y.A.S.

Laney has received so many cute outfits. This is another one of our favorites. It came from Jim's old squadron commander and his wife, Lt Col Trevor and Deanna Flint. Thank you for the great gift and here's to all maintainers, "If You Ain't Maintenance...You Ain't S#!+!!!"

Polar Express

While Laney and I were home in November we were able to go to the annual breakfast with Santa/Polar Express day at Jim's parents church. I was so excited to have Laney's picture take with a "Santa" we actually knew! She had a great time and was a huge hit. Thanks Auntie Lo for the fabulous outfit!
