Bad Hair Days

My poor baby, her daddy thinks its funny to "Do" her hair in the bath tub. So I made him cover it up. Just kidding, I think its quite funny too!

During her eight month photo session I snapped this pic. As I was looking at them again today I noticed this one. I think it looks like she took from the cookie jar and is hiding it behind her back.

If you look to the right you can see she is getting another tooth. She is also getting one on the top as well but that one is a little hard to capture...

Saturday we headed to Denver for a belated birthday celebration for Grandad. He is 81 years young! I took this picture as we were getting on the interstate. I always say the weather is awful at the border.

Teeth

Laney is teething again, for the third time. For those of you how don't know, she got her first tooth at 6 weeks. Yes, we were shocked/devastated! I really didn't think it would be a big deal. They are just teeth, everyone has them! But I VIVIDLY remember calling my father-in-law (the dentist) and asking what to do. Without skipping a beat, he said, "tell her to quit growing so I don't miss out!" I then proceeded to breakdown in tears. And I find myself doing it again tonight. She is growing so fast. I really didn't think I was a sappy momma, but I find myself grasping to her "baby phases", this coming from the girl who doesn't "love the baby phase."
